So, I've been looking around for the perfect starter doll for a long, long time! And today, I have finally found my perfect doll to begin in the world of BJD; a Doll Leaves 1/4 MSD 43.5cm girl, Lilith. I love her to bits already, and I haven't even ordered her yet! Can anybody offer me any newbie tips? I know the basics, like research, research, RESEARCH, but I'm just a bit unsure at the moment. I've looked up face up tutorials, so I'm gonna do that myself (I know what not to put on resin, just so you know), but just any tips would be useful, really. Like, special ways to make their clothes, etc.
Thanks a lot!
Falsetto. This is her; isn't she pretty? Obviously, I'm not buying the wig or outfit, or face up (I'm not made of money!), but I thought she was pretty decent for a first BJD Current Mood: cheerful

Nice to meet you.
I'm new to this comm. And this is Tinka, my first BJD, courtesy of Obitsu. Also my first faceup, and first handmade wig.

A newbie with a few questions.
Hi all. I'm SUPER new to ball joint dolls and was contemplating my first purchase. I've fallen madly in love with a particular Iplehouse doll, but have a handful of questions... was wondering if I could pic your brains a bit here? Thanks! Current Mood: artistic

I'm looking to sell my Natural Tanning Ren and Present Jade Version 2 but I'm unsure as to what I could sell these for. Both are in excellent condition and have been rarely played with, no marks what-so ever to speak of on them. They both have their wigs and Jade still has the cute outfit he came with. How much could I sell each of them for?
Thank you. Current Mood: curious
